Square Enix related..
Got my 32 Arcanist to Thanalan for starting Thaumaturge. I had accidently put the wrong birthday into my Square Enix FFXIV account portal and had to call their office to get it fixed. They were able to activate the account for my interest in playing. I got a 60 days game card from Amazon on my public guardian's shopping list. When I am over my free trial barriers (like, being level 50+ for example). When I get to level 30 with the Thaumaturge job class I'll be going for Black Mage role and quest. My player is on the Aether data center, for North America. I was fighting the Chupacabra, but the fighters involved ran away leaving it to regenerate. It ended up being a waste of time to try to kite the level 14 mob with another player for the experience points gain and Gil. While leveling Thaumaturge I have to stock up on Potions/Hi-Potions for grinding level up on FATEs and Levequests.Β
It was relatively a pain to fix my Zephyrus G16 working correctly. I was fearing the worst from rebooting to install Linux and failing through the BIOS UEFI Secure Boot over 30 times. The colors kept blotting down and being layered into visable diffusion artifacts. Finally selecting one of the options in G Helper allowed my computer to come back to normal. I am using the RTS/RPG "Neutral" setting. I thought I had damaged the machine with that bug. So after fixing it still runs FFXI really good, plus I even got an overclock app from ASUS working. I was fearing that I broke my graphics card(s) in the machine I use. This laptop is fast and powerful and I've used 250GB already of the 2 TB space. The thing runs like an antique, with the components inside fitting well and uniquely, giving a little grimmace here and there of odd graphics, or "quirky" or "flickerly", as I call it, behavior. The machine is still working really well and I'm proud of having it fixed. One of the issues was with the effective use of blacks and cover shades for graphics artifacts/tearing effects in Youtube videos.Β
On the Radeon 890M graphics alone I can run FFXIV (game of subject) pretty well in towns. Involving the NVIDIA RTX 4070 dedicated ("Ultimate" setting in GHelper) causes me to get spoiled, the graphics are mostly fluid and more immersive. The computer certainly helps, and I'm thankful to Dan W. for getting me this machine. I'm continuing to my system administrator roots, so find me at limitsite.tech when you want to follow that related material.

Returns to pencil βοΈ photographics site
Our current place in the web is snug and secure, like a baby hyrax here (left) from TikTok. I've been living at the Cordilleras reserve (in Redwood City), and I wanted some medical marijuana but instead get useless pills. I was disappointed that I could not get any good drugs, for recreational healing and such. I do believe that the experiences attained from drugs allow better overall happiness. They will do not one iota to respect anxiety and it is left in my decisions whether or not I will cope.Β
If anyone has ever done the GED test, in depth please comment. I'd like to see if we can study together π but 1st) I need ID. I invited a friend Dan to help convert my situation to a GED study arrangement, plus help get some flowers for my situation at county placement of living affairs. I can get a job here in Silicon Valley, if I remain afterwards. I think they are dumping me to "Independent Living" as Board and Care county certified. I don't know what else to write about here, but I do want to make it silly, creative, whatever! I'm involved in improving my picture to throw together various workings of text and imagery, so to become some kind of expert at the same time, with the wonder that is pencil.cam.

### Charcoal Pencils
**Charcoal pencils** are art tools primarily used for drawing and sketching. They contain compressed charcoal encased in a wooden cylinder, similar to a traditional pencil. The charcoal core is known for its rich, dark black marks and ability to create a wide range of values from light greys to deep blacks. Here are some key characteristics:
- **Rich Texture**: Charcoal pencils produce a grainy, matte texture that is excellent for expressive, bold lines and shading.
- **Blending and Smudging**: They blend easily, allowing artists to create smooth transitions and gradients. This makes them ideal for shading and creating depth in drawings.
- **Erasability**: While charcoal is erasable, it tends to leave smudges, making it slightly challenging to achieve completely clean corrections.
- **Variety**: Available in different hardness levels, from soft to hard, which affects the darkness and smoothness of the lines.
### Mechanical Pencils
**Mechanical pencils**, on the other hand, are versatile writing and drawing instruments that use thin, replaceable leads. They are known for their precision and convenience. Here are their key characteristics:
- **Consistency**: Mechanical pencils provide a consistent line thickness, which is excellent for detailed work and technical drawing.
- **No Sharpening**: They eliminate the need for sharpening, as the lead can be advanced with a simple click.
- **Clean and Precise**: Ideal for fine lines and detailed drawings, mechanical pencils produce clean, precise marks with minimal smudging.
- **Lead Variations**: Available in different lead sizes (e.g., 0.5mm, 0.7mm) and hardness levels (e.g., HB, 2B), offering a range of options for various tasks.
### Comparison
**Contrast**:
1. **Material**: Charcoal pencils use charcoal, while mechanical pencils use graphite leads.
2. **Texture and Finish**: Charcoal pencils offer a grainy, matte finish, while mechanical pencils produce smooth, consistent lines.
3. **Erasability**: Charcoal is harder to erase cleanly compared to graphite in mechanical pencils.
4. **Sharpening**: Charcoal pencils require sharpening, whereas mechanical pencils do not.
**Similarities**:
1. **Versatility**: Both can be used for sketching and detailed work, although their applications may differ based on the desired effect.
2. **Variety**: Both offer a range of hardness levels, allowing for different line qualities and shading effects.
**Applications**:
- **Charcoal Pencils**: Preferred for expressive, artistic sketches, portrait drawing, and creating dramatic contrasts.
- **Mechanical Pencils**: Favored for technical drawings, note-taking, and detailed illustrations.
In essence, **charcoal pencils** are great for those looking to explore artistic, textured sketches, while **mechanical pencils** are ideal for precision and convenience. Each tool has its unique strengths, catering to different artistic needs and preferences. βοΈβ¨

This coming New Years is a time to think for me. Probably to consider my impact on other people, perhaps tone it down a bit, keep it cool. I am looking forward to renewing some domains in my portfolio. I'm looking forward to conquering the GED in 2025. I'm centralized in the Bay Area,(California, US) but I need to get some skill and advance writing better, feel better- more confident. Meet more people. So, that makes the GED a very appealing value. I'm ready to prepare myself better. That's what I observed when trying the Reasoning with Language Arts pretest.Β
